We are most excited to have your entry accepted into the 2013 Champions Cup Invitational.
As you are aware, the Champions Cup always is one of the most competitive Four Ball events held in the United States annually on one of the most historic courses in the Southwest & Texas. US Open, Tour Championships, US Amateur and many other notable events have challenge both the PGA professional and Amateurs on the historic Cypress Creek course.
I am pleased to announce several accommodation options that we have established for the 2013 Champions Cup competitors.
You have at least three options for your accommodations for your week in Houston:
- Champions Members are opening up their homes to competitors
- Local Hotels
- Arrange you own accommodations
1. Champions members, who live close to Champions, are opening up their homes, at no charge, to competitors in the 2013 Cup to stay with them during the tournament. This is an opportunity for you to enjoy local Champions and Southern hospitality and make new friends who are proud Champions members. The members will provide you with appropriate sleeping accommodations throughout your stay in Houston. If you are interested in this accommodation venue, please advise me. Housing will be available starting Tuesday evening of April 16th through Saturday night April 20th.
2. While there are multiple hotels in the general area of Champions Golf Club, our lead and preferred hotel is the Hilton Garden Inn. The Champions Cup Invitational rate is $129/night for Tuesday April 16th and Wednesday April 17th. The rate is $79/night starting Thursday April 18th through Sunday April 21st. This includes complimentary breakfast. The hotel is approximately 30 minutes from George Bush Intercontinental Airport and 10 minutes from Champions. Hilton does offer shuttle service to/from Champions on an “as requested basis”.
